Mid Level Systems Analyst GMD

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Mid Level Systems Analyst GMD to support our Fort Greenly, Alaska location.

PeopleTec is seeking a Mid-Level Systems Analyst to support Ground Based Mid-Course Missile Defense operations with the 49^th Missile Defense Battalion (MDB) in Fort Greely, Alaska. 

Duties:

• Support the 100th Missile Defense Brigade and subordinate/attached units (49^th Battalion) with planning, coordination, record-keeping, and execution of missile defense training, certifications, and Research, Development, Test, and Evaluations (RDT&E) operations.
• Assist with scheduling, planning, preparation, and attendance of ballistic missile RDT&E oriented meetings between/among 100th MDB internal staff/command entities, subordinate units, higher headquarters, sister agencies, and other stakeholder entities as dictated by mission requirements.
• Assist with communicating operational requirements and capturing operational feedback for warfighter input as part of RDT&E activities to various higher headquarters, sister agencies, and other stakeholder entities as dictated by mission requirements.
• Assist with the execution and documentation of missile defense crew evaluations.
• Support the 100th MDB and subordinate/attached units with planning, coordination, integration, and execution of internal and external exercises and evaluations.

Required Skills/Experience:

• 5+ years of operational experience

• Qualification in the T3 (Ground-based Mid-Course Defense System Operator) Additional Skill Identifier (ASI) and a minimum of three years of operational experience as a T3 qualified GMD system operator.  

• Ability to maintain effective communication during crisis and contingency.

• Experience coordinating across Brigade, Battalion, higher headquarters, and external agencies.

• Travel: 5-10%
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• An active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant operational experience involving Ground-based Missile Defense.

Physical Job Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and hear. The employee is regularly required to write and type on a computer.

Desired Skills:

• Knowledgeable of communication architectures, communications network management, control and planning systems and military applications of space systems, Counter UAS systems, and missile defense systems and concepts.
