Responsibilities

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Senior Logistics Specialist GMD to support our Colorado Springs, CO location.

 

PeopleTec is seeking a Senior Logistics Specialist to support Ground Based Mid-Course Missile Defense operations with the 100th Missile Defense Brigade (MDB) in Colorado Springs, Colorado. 

 

Duties:

 

  • Assist the 100th Missile Defense Brigade and subordinate/attached units with planning, coordination, integration, and execution of logistical requirements.
  • Assist the 100th Missile Defense Brigade and subordinate/attached units with day-to-day tracking, coordination, and management of Missile Defense System assets and systems.
  • Provide support for the management and administration of Defense Travel System (DTS) processes within the 100th MDB and subordinate/attached units.
  • The contractor’s Senior Logistics Specialist shall serve as the BDE level Organizational Defense Travel Administrator (ODTA) for the 100th MDB and shall hold DTS reviewer permissions as dictated by unit leadership and allowed by law, regulation, and policy.
  • Support the management and administration of Non-Tactical Vehicles (NTVs) within the 100th MDB and subordinate/attached units.
  • Assist with the administration of Risk Management Internal Controls (RMIC) requirements in accordance with Army Regulation 11-2 (RMIC).
  • Support the 100th MDB and subordinate/attached units in providing logistical input into external agencies products/ documents, activities, meetings, and issue resolution forums.
  • Generate reports/slide submissions capturing relevant asset management data as required by 100th MDB leadership and higher headquarters (USASMDC, USNORTHCOM, USSTRATCOM, etc.).
  • Exposure to and interfacing with Logistics Support; Asset Management; Readiness Reporting; Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection Support; Exercise Support; Missile Defense Operations Support; and Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems Support.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 12+ years of operational experience
  • Joint Federal Travel Regulation (JFTR), USASMDC Business Rules for Travel, and applicable National Guard policies by state.
  • Knowledge of Ballistic Missile Defense systems, Ground-based Midcourse Defense, and related technologies.
  • Ability to maintain effective communication during crisis and contingency.
  • Experience coordinating across Brigade, Battalion, higher headquarters, and external agencies.
  • Travel: 5-10%
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • An active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

 

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant operational experience involving Ground-based Missile Defense.

 

Physical Job Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and hear. The employee is regularly required to write and type on a computer.

 

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledgeable of communication architectures, communications network management, control and planning systems and military applications of space systems, Counter UAS systems, and missile defense systems and concepts.

In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is ~$100,000 - $140,000; however, PeopleTec considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and critical skills.
