Cybersecurity Engineer

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to support our Huntsville, AL location.

Required Skills/Experience:

• 5 years of experience
• Perform penetration testing and vulnerability analysis of IT and OT systems.
• Consult with customers across the broad spectrum of Information Technology configuration, system hardening, and security assessment.
• Monitor and analyze network traffic and security logs using SIEM tools,
  proactively detecting and responding to threats in real-time.
• Use tools and methods to identify viable paths for privilege escalation,
  and capturing weak user credentials.
• Execute threat-hunting missions across networks and endpoints, identifying
  previously undetected malicious activity and reducing dwell time by malicious code or actors.
• Configure and manage cloud security tools (e.g., identity and access management,
  encryption, firewalls) to protect sensitive data and workloads.
• Utilize tools to obtain user credentials and session tokens for initial access in
  order to assess impact of Adversary-in-the-Middle (AITM) phishing campaigns.
• Integrate vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys, Tenable) with existing
  security infrastructure, streamlining the identification and remediation process.
• Travel: Up to 25%
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• An active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.
