Independent Verification and Validation

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Software Independent Verification and Validation to support our Huntsville, Alabama location.

PeopleTec is seeking a Future Long Range Assault Aircraft Independent Verification and Validation Analyst to execute the process of verifying system and software artifacts for compliance, with a focus on requirements analysis, design specification, documentation review and testing.  Candidates must exercise strong written and oral communication skills, ability to multi -task, and exhibit strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through skills. Travel may be required.

Duties, Responsibilities and Position Details

• Develop and review plans and reports to ensure system and software operates and complies with requirements and/or design specifications.
• Review design, system and test documentation related to requirements and test output.
• Provide technical expertise in data analyzed through verification and validation process. Candidate must be knowledgeable of requirements and data used for analysis.
• Utilize strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate with team members internal and external to the organization.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Experience with requirements and traceability analysis.
• Experience developing and reviewing software test plans, test development, and test reports.
• Experience with Software Change Request (SCR) and issue tracking databases/systems.
• Experience reviewing requirements and design documents such as: SRS specifacations and SDD descriptions. 
• Travel: 10%
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Education Requirements:

• BS in a STEM discipline

Desired Skills:

• Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) methodology and analysis using MBSE.
• Requirements analysis experience using DOORs and Cameo.
• Ability to perform evaluations of various software related products and cover assessments of software products through all phases of the development life cycle, including software specifications, design verification, coding, testing and results data validation.
• Ability to configure necessary hardware and operating environments as needed to complete assigned testing, and provide technical know-how on particular products, operating systems and specialized environments.
• Knowledge of military and software development industry standards, software requirement generation and maintenance
