Responsibilities

Corporate Recruiter (On-site)

 

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Corporate Recruiter to support programs across multiple locations, with a primary focus on our Huntsville, AL office.

 

The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and capable of recruiting top talent to meet our expanding needs.

 

Success in this role will be achieved by employing traditional sourcing strategies and taking an innovative approach to creative recruiting methods for high-volume entry-level through executive-level technical and programmatic positions. The primary responsibility of this position is to recruit and coordinate with hiring managers to fill open vacancies. 

 

Recruiting

  • Execute sourcing strategies for talented and diverse candidates through creative methods such as job postings, internet data mining, Boolean search, applicant tracking systems, social media, employee referrals, networking, cold calling, competitor research, career fairs, etc.
  • Screen candidates to assess availability, interest level, salary range, relocation needs, and basic qualifications.
  • Evaluate employment factors such as job experience, education, skills, training, fit with the organization, and future potential.
  • Maintain a network of contacts to identify and source qualified candidates.
  • Proactively monitor and evaluate the applicant pool and adjust sourcing strategies as needed.
  • Create and post new requisitions.
  • Maintain recruitment workflow in the ATS.

Onboarding/Engagement

  • Participate in and lead New Employee-Owner Meet & Greets.
  • Responsible for pre-employment documentation.

Campaigns/Branding

  • Create, recommend, and partner with the Communications & Engagement Lead for recruiting campaigns and branding initiatives.
  • Determine appropriate recruiting sources such as meet-ups, local recruiting marketing campaigns, employee referral programs, college recruiting programs, social networking, and targeted websites; partner and execute on these sources.
  • Organize onsite job fairs and participate in external job fairs.

Qualifications

 

  • Minimum of one year of experience as a recruiter, preferably in the DOD industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a similar field (or four additional years of directly related experience in place of a degree).
  • Ability to work in a multi-faceted, fast-paced environment while staying organized.
  • Strong organizational skills, a passion for recruitment, and excellent follow-through.
  • Eager to build a career and contribute to company growth, not just seeking another job.
  • Professionalism, along with strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, including the ability to negotiate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability and willingness to perform cold calling, create Boolean search strings, and conduct data mining
