ISSM/RMF Analyst (Junior Level)

PeopleTec is currently seeking entry level Information System Security Manager (ISSM)/Risk Management Framework (RMF) personnel to support our (San Antonio, TX) Ft. Sam Houston location.

Great opportunity for recent college grads and candidates with up to 2 years technical experience to join our cyber team. The ISSM/RMF analyst will report to a senior level analyst to review RMF Certification and Accreditation documentation, standard operating procedures, policies, and security instructions for both networked and stand-alone computer systems and provide guidance for multiple systems. Supports the Army Materiel Command/Installation Management Command’s Cyber Security Program to include, but not limited to, cyber security policy, procedures, and regulations to assist with identifying potential cyber security issues. Reports to a more-senior-level Project Manager.  

This position is hybrid on-site/telework.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Reviews RMF packages to include System Categorizations, Security Plan, and Authorization Packages (A&A, Access Only).
• Monitors, evaluates, and maintains systems and procedures to safeguard information systems, networks, and databases.
• Implements, enforces, communicates, and develops security policies or plans for data, software applications, hardware, telecommunications, and information systems security education/ awareness programs.
• Performs analysis on AMC/IMCOM system problems.
• Works with AMC/IMCOM system users to define problem areas, data availability, and report requirements.
• Defines AMC/IMCOM system objectives and for prepares system design specifications to meet user requirements.
• Implements AMC/IMCOM system design specifications. *
• May be responsible for defining controls, conversion procedures, and system implementation plans.
• Security+ Certification
• Experience Supporting DoD RMF process a plus
• Travel: 10 %
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Education Requirements:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree and 2 years’ experience or 4+ years experiece in lieu of degree

• RMF, eMASS, DISA STIGs
