Responsibilities

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Systems Engineer to support our Ogden, UT location.

 

PeopleTec is seeking motivated individuals who are interested in joining an award-winning company and working with cutting edge technologies to include hypersonics, directed energy, missile defense, and space systems.  The selected candidate will be a member of our dynamic Hill Air Force Base team in Ogden, Utah and a classified Government contract on Hill Air Force Base addressing cyber security requirements and services and will assist with the development and implementation of information assurance (IA), and security standards and procedures.

 

Our team supports state-of-the-art projects, by providing knowledge, experience, and resources across a broad range of diverse professional disciplines and functional capabilities. These disciplines and capabilities include areas such as acquisition, administration, business analysis, cybersecurity, engineering, Digital Engineering, finance, integration, mission effectiveness, Nuclear Surety, Program Management, research, risk management, science, strategy development, sustaining engineering, systems engineering, system safety and security, and technical assessment.   • Understanding and developing solutions to support emerging needs in a dynamic environment
  • Planning, implementing, testing, documenting, and maintaining solutions for the integration and testing of products
  • Providing solutions that directly support the Government’s mission in terms of cost, schedule, performance, and risk
  • Supporting effective and responsive Systems Engineering and Integration throughout the life cycle of the contract by providing knowledge, experience, and resources

The successful candidate is a seasoned professional with a proven track record in orchestrating multifaceted projects. The candidate will have a comprehensive experience and a solid educational background in systems engineering and excel in requirements elicitation, analysis, and functional allocation. Expertise in system architecture, coupled with a nuanced understanding of cutting-edge hardware and software technologies, is ideal. This individual should exhibit strong leadership skills, guiding cross-functional teams through intricate development processes, and possess a strategic mindset aligned with organizational objectives. Effective communication skills, both technical and non-technical, are key, ensuring seamless collaboration throughout the project lifecycle

 

Duties Include:

  • Providing technical direction for development, engineering, interfacing, integration and testing of complex hardware/software systems, including requirements elicitation and analysis and functional allocation
  • Conducting system requirements reviews
  • Developing concepts of operation & interface standards
  • Developing system architectures
  • Performing technical and nontechnical assessment and management
  • Performing end-to-end flow analysis
  • Generating and reviewing designs for technical accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness

 

Qualifications

 

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Systems Engineering Experience and/or Certification
  • Able to create unified user experiences throughout a given application
  • Experienced with developing and orchestrating usability studies and addressing issues that are discovered
  • Sound oral and written communication skills and the ability to clearly present and communicate technical approaches and findings to the team and the government customer
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, team environment
  • Travel: 20%
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

 

Education Requirements:

  • BS Degree in any engineering discipline + 6 years of related engineering experience

OR

  • MS Degree in any engineering discipline + 4 years of related engineering experience

OR

  • PhD Degree in any engineering discipline + 2 years of related engineering experience
  • Professional Engineering License desired
  • Systems Engineering Certification desired
  • Relevant core and advanced certifications as established/required per local, national and international industry standards or as necessitated by performance expectations associated with level of appointment
