Responsibilities

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Counterintelligence Technician (Level I - IV) to support TEAMS-Next Security & CI.

 

Our team is looking for an exceptionally motivated self-starting Counterintelligence Technician with a background in Counterintelligence/Security, preferably in missile defense or a related DoD field. The Technician will be capable of applying analytical principles and practices, research and conducting TSCM investigations and operations for MDA test events, conferences, facilities, MDA deployment activities and exercises IAW DoD Instruction 5240.05 and CI Division Standard Operating Procedures. The successful candidate will have, and be able to apply, excellent oral and written communication skills.

 

This position is in support of the Missile Defense Agency located at Redstone Arsenal AL.

 

Duties Include:

  • The Cyber Counterintelligence Technician will provide expertise and hands-on experience within the Counterintelligence Technical Surveillance and Countermeasures (TSCM) functional/task area.
  • Applies analytical principles and practices, research and conducts TSCM investigations and operations for MDA test events, conferences, facilities, MDA deployment activities and exercises IAW DoD Instruction 5240.05 and CI Division Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Applies analytical principles and practices, research, and technical support in the development and production of security products and activities.
  • Applies oral and written communication skills.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience: Save

  • Experience: 0-10+ years working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD programs / projects.
  • Works independently and/or leads teams to analyze and resolve CI TSCM problems.
  • The ability to conduct digital forensic analysis on a variety of host platforms (iOS/Android/Windows/MacOS/Linux, Etc.).
  • Certifications:
    • CI Cyber Forensics Lab: Must be certified Digital Forensic Examiner (DFE).
    • CI Cyber Forensics Lab (Specialist Level III): Must be certified Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II or Level III Certification.
    • Interagency Training Center (ITC) certified.
  • CI Officer: Must be formally CI trained and certified to USD/I approved standards pursuant to DoD Directive 5240.02.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Office Specialist Expert certification.
  • Travel: Up to 10%
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • An active DoD Secret to TS clearance with SCI eligibility is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

 

Education Requirements:

  • Certified in relevant Security/CI field.
